a blank DVD. This makes them much more convenient than recording onto tapes
as the DVD can be played in a DVD player or computer without any editing

create thumbnail images for each chapter so that you can easily see which chapter
is which.
It is also very easy to edit your recordings on a computer as you can connect
using a USB cable or you can put the DVD into the computer's DVD drive. You can
then edit the video to your tastes and save it as you wish and most DVD digital
camcorders some with some editing software.
There are also lots of features that you should look out for when you buy a DVD
digital camcorder such as an LCD screen which makes it easy to view your recordings
and also makes accessing options and settings easier. The zoom is also important
as the optical zoom is much better than the digital zoom so if you like to zoom
then buy a DVD digital camcorder that has a high optical zoom.
